Puerto Rican salsa singer Tito Rojas – Telemundo Puerto Rico has died

Captain Teddy Morales, director of the CIC in Humacao, confirmed on Saturday Telenoticias the death of the salsa singer from Puerto Rico Tito Rojas.

According to the information, the singer died this morning around 12:30 in the Tejas neighborhood of Humacao. Yesterday, at Christmas, he shared an activity with his family in the same city. When he returned to his residence, he began to feel unwell and stopped at a relative’s house.

He let it be known that he was not feeling well and asked to be taken to the hospital. In changing vehicles to do the same, he collapsed at the entrance to the residence and died. When authorities arrived, after a 9-1-1 call alerting them to the emergency, they found the body without vital signs.

Rojas López’s body was transported to the Institute of Legal Sciences in San Juan.

Later, the singer Gilberto Santa Rosa, also a salsa performer, mourned the death of his partner in a message he wrote on the social network Twitter.

“I still don’t think … My dear rooster, we will miss you and we will remember you in every song”, read part of the message.

Julio Cesar Rojas López, the singer’s first name, was 65 years old and had a long musical career. He is said to have performed his hits in several countries in Latin America and around the world.
