Over 2 million PUBG Mobile accounts were banned from mobile gaming in just one week, according to game developers. PUBG Corp and Krafton provided an update on the game’s anti-cheating efforts through PUBG Mobile Twitter account to give an idea of how many players have recently been hit by “ban pan”. The banned players between 11 and 17 December totaled exactly 2,127,454, PUBG Mobile said the creators, with three reasons identified as the main causes of the bans.
These reasons, surprisingly, were all the deceptions in which mobile players played PUBG Mobile to improve their chances of winning or manipulating parts of the game differently. The overview of the latest wave of bans said that the first three things players were banned for this month were the use of X-ray hacks, automatic hacking and changing character patterns.
Between December 11-17, 2,127,454 accounts were permanently suspended from accessing our game, of which these are most of the reasons:

Along with this information, separate infographics distributed in the tweet showed what the spread between these three categories looked like. A total of 31% of banned players manipulate character models, 18% of them used some form of X-ray vision, and 15% of them used self-purpose hacks. The other reasons for the bans mentioned in the chart were speed hacks, modification of damage in the area and “other” to include anything else the players could have done, which was banned.
It was also interesting to see the spread of the ranks to which the banned accounts belonged. Most banned accounts were bronze at 22%, which may not be too surprising PUBG Mobile players, while the next demographic was Diamond, with 17%, followed by a tie between Platinum and Crown, with 15% each.
Both PUBG and PUBG Mobile has long been fighting cheaters by banning accounts like these, so expect to see more anti-cheating updates like this to detail how many accounts are banned at different intervals.
