PS4 surprised PlayStation players with not only a new stealth version, but a new free stealth version. Today, Total Mayhem Games announced that its cooperative adventure game, I was here, is coming to PS4, through PlayStation Store and is coming today. In the meantime, the game’s continuation pair, We were here too and We were here together, will come to the Sony console later this month, on February 23rd. At this time, there are no trio of games coming to the PS5, but all can be played on the console by reverse compatibility.
But there is a catch. The game is free only until February 22. After that, it will return to its normal price. That being said, if you download the game before, it’s yours to keep. In other words, this is not a free trial. It is a free download available for a limited time.
At this time, it was not known if the sequels to the game will be free for a limited time, when they will be released. What we do know is that the first game is free on both Xbox One and PC for a limited time.
For those who don’t know: Total Mayhem Games released I was here in 2017, only through the computer and the computer. Then, in 2019, the game arrived on Xbox One, and is now available on PS4.
“Each player has to explore different areas and each puzzle requires teamwork to be solved,” reads an official pitch of the game. “Asymmetric puzzles give each partner different information and challenge players to talk to each other and figure out exactly what information they have and how it could lead to a solution. You and your partner have nothing but your intelligence, a walkie-talkie each, and whatever you can find along the way. “
