Princess Sofia washes the toilets and serves food in the hospital against Covid from Sweden impartiality

STOCKHOLM, Sweden. – Not even the coronavirus pandemic stopped Princess Sofía Cristina in her work as honorary president of Sophiahemmet Hospital, where she helped with care with nurses and doctors.

SVT, a local television station, published a note addressing the services performed by members of the royal family, highlighting what Princess Sofia did, which helps cook and clean hospital facilities such as corridors and toilets.

“I felt I should help as much as I could,” said Sofía, who has been supporting the hospital since April, a month when the coronavirus health situation was gaining strength in Europe.

A few weeks ago, Sofia tested positive for the virus with her husband, Prince Carlos Felipe. I suspect they were both infected because of the princess’ work in the hospital.

According to reports from Johns Hopkins University, Sweden has 367,120 infections and 7,993 deaths, a 2% mortality from coronavirus.
