Critics say the timing of Prince Harry’s recent interview with James Corden is “useless” because he stole attention from the push of Queen Elizabeth’s COVID-19 vaccine.
“When the queen speaks, as she did about the vaccine, it is accepted that she has a clear field,” a source told the Daily Mail about Harry’s appearance on Thursday on “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”
News of Harry’s late-night talks filled the British media on Friday morning, hours after the queen tried to give the vaccine a boost with an address in which she encouraged the British public to be hit, according to Sky News .
He even tried to draw attention by talking about his own health problems – an extraordinary step he rarely takes – and saying that when he received the shot “it didn’t hurt at all”.
The royal expert, Robert Jobson, believes that the moment of the predictable decline in the appearance of Harry’s talk show has trampled on the important message of the queen’s pandemic.
“The moment is everything, isn’t it,” he told the Daily Mail. “The day the Queen sent a very, very important message about the whole nation that received the jab, that message was kind of blurred by Harry, the man who wants a private life, talking again about his private life. ”
Harry’s conversation with Corden was filmed before the queen confirmed the disengagement of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle as superior kings.
During his televised trip through Los Angeles with Corden, Harry said he never intended to completely abandon his position.
“He never left – he took a step back, rather than resign,” he told Corden. He also claimed that the British press wreaked havoc on his mental health.
Corden could have aired the interview on Thursday in an attempt to defeat Oprah Winfrey, as the media icon also blocked an interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
