Prince Harry and Meghan are looking for a 12-month Megxit extension

Prince Harry and Meghan reportedly sought an extension of their 12-month “Megxit” agreement to allow them to continue as members of the royal family in California.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to meet with senior kings over Zoom in January, before Harry travels to the UK – subject to COVID restrictions – to seal the deal, The Sun reported on Saturday.

Harry and Meghan’s current deal with Buckingham Palace allows them to hold on to their royal patronages or charitable support tasks, but will expire on March 31st.

The two are eager to keep their patronage, The Sun noted.

Meghan’s employers include organizations that promote women’s empowerment, universal education and animal welfare.

Harry includes his title as president of the nonprofit charity for African parks and the Invictus Games Foundation.

Harry also hopes to regain the honorary military posts that were removed from him during Megxit, The Sun reported.

The news of the upcoming negotiations comes after Harry and Meghan reached agreements with Netflix and Spotify each worth between 100 and 30 million dollars.

Older kings will examine these offers to make sure they meet “Her Majesty’s values,” the press reported.

The couple angered the royal family by announcing on social media in January that they wanted to give up the position of superior kings in order to live an independent life in the United States.

Harry and Meghan are also looking to return to the UK for the 95th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II in April, for Prince Phillip, 100 years since the Duke of Edinburgh, in June, and for the unveiling of a statues of Princess Diana in what would have been her 60th birthday on July 1, The Sun reported.
