Prince Harry and Markle will meet with family members from “Megxit”: report

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will meet publicly with the royal family this spring for the first time since they gave up their titles, according to a report.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to attend the Trooping of the Color, the queen’s annual birthday parade on June 12 in London, the Sunday Times reported.

The military parade, which will mark its 95th anniversary, will also be the first national holiday in the United Kingdom since the beginning of the pandemic.

The queen appeared last year without her family at the event, which was reduced and moved from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle due to blockades.

“The current plan is for the Queen’s birthday parade to continue normally in London, with the understanding that it may be necessary to adapt or resize it according to the guidelines in force at the time,” said a royal agent. “But the supreme aspiration and desire is to realize it.”

The last public appearance of Harry and Meghan with family members took place at the Westminster Abbey Commonwealth service on March 9, after they concluded the “Megxit” agreement.

The Sussexes have since moved to Montecito, California, with their 1-year-old son Archie.
