Prince Philip, 99, was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London on Tuesday night, February 16th., according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.
It would be a “precautionary” admission recommended by his doctor, as the Duke of Edinburgh would be “uncomfortable”, the Palace reported. The duke is expected to remain in hospital for a few days under observation.
The duke allegedly traveled by car to the medical center, according to the British press. In addition, they reported that no emergency admission was granted and that hospitalization was not related to covid-19.
