President Luis Abinader leaves for the National Congress
President Luis Abinader arrived at the National Congress for his first recap, six months after taking power.
The president arrived accompanied by the first lady, Raquel Arbaje. He left his residence at 9:51 in the morning to give the speech, scheduled to begin at 10:00 in the morning. The president lives about five minutes away from Congress.
Abinader arrived dressed in the National Flag and immediately the 21 rescuers sounded as usual and the notes of the National Anthem were sung.
This February 27 is the 177th anniversary of National Independence, the date chosen to give an account to the Dominican presidents.
Today began the activity of the ordinary legislatures in the Congress of the Republic, where several ongoing projects are known.
