In less than 12 hours, police reported 10 murders in different regions of the island.

A 49-year-old woman also received several gunshot wounds related to these events and was transported to a local hospital for medical care. The injured are residents of Vega Baja.
A seventh murder was recorded on the PR-854 highway in the Media Luna sector at Hacienda Macarena in Toa Baja.
