A particularly funny thing Pokemon shield the bug that made the rounds online this week sent Snorlax flying through the air and into the distance, making it a common sight for such a large Pokemon. The bug is not one that players would normally find in the game because it appeared in a hacked version of Pokemon shield which made him even rarer and much better now that I saw him.
The bug in question was posted on social media by the Twitter user octozeppelin who distributed the video below that showed Snorlax in flight. The player ran across a bridge only to have a Snorlax float without being hindered by the extraordinary weight for which the Pokemon is usually known. When asked about another use if the Pokemon is okay, the original poster responded with another clip that showed Snorlax moving away in the distance.

Of course, the scene generated all sorts of edits from people working on music and other animations in the clip that suits her best. All this, combined with the video itself, made the video quite popular, being viewed over 1.6 million times on Twitter at the time of publication.
If you are looking for a flying Snorlax in your game now that you have seen this clip, you may be disappointed to hear that you probably won’t find any. The bug shown in the video above did not happen in a normal playback of Pokemon shield and was instead tested in a hacked version of the game. The user who shared the video said that he was playing with a randomizer hack that made Pokemon appear outside their normal environments and locations and added that this is not the first thing they saw wrong in a funny way.
It’s because of a randomizer hack called Rainbow Shield! Every Pokémon in the world is randomized, so I’ve seen a lot of really funny things in the sky that don’t usually belong there.
