The person stole a woman and Dui’s card and then allegedly bought it electronically.

A test subject has been detained by the National Civil Police for the past several hours and charged with theft by stealing credit cards and a colleague’s Dui, supposedly to make online purchases.

The subject, identified as Sergio de Jesús Peña, was detained by the police in the department of La Libertad, although the exact place of capture has not been specified.

Authorities point out that Peña is stealing a woman’s credit card, his colleague and ID, supposedly to later make electronic purchases in various commercial establishments.

It is not known whether the purchases were made in the United States or on websites in El Salvador, that information has not been specified by the authorities.

According to the police, the person will be referred to the judicial authorities to be charged with the crime of computer theft.
