Plex’s new Atari Retro Arcade subscription looks great

Plexus just has added a new level of subscription to its streaming TV and live media services: Plex Arcade, a cloud gaming service like Amazon Luna and Google Stage, but focused entirely on retro arcade games.

The streaming company collaborated Parsec, another streaming company known for cloud gaming, to build a library full of Atari classics such as Asteroids, Centipede, Missile command, and other. Plex also supports classic game ROMs, so if you have your own beds, you can add them to your Plex Arcade library.

Plex says its new arcade platform is a passionate project and is still ongoing, but if it attracts many subscribers, there is certainly room to expand the service along the way. You can try Plex Arcade for free for seven days. Then,s $ 3 per month for existing Plex Pass subscribers or $ 5 per month for non-subscribers.

Plex Arcade requires a Windows or MacOS Plex Media Server (sorry Linux users; na support for you right now), but This one’It is easy to configure and create a new game library.
