PlayStation Now matches the Xbox Game Pass with a $ 1 promotion

The PlayStation Now typically stands at $ 9.99 a month at its minimum commitment level, but Sony is currently promoting an offer that offers even less than a month. For a limited time, PlayStation Now subscribers can get a month for just $ 1, an offer that is visibly offered by the Xbox Game Pass and has been the norm there for some time. The PlayStation Now promotion is only available until March 29, so if you’re interested in taking advantage of it, it’s time to do so.

The PlayStation Now offer appeared this week without much bitterness on the site set up for the PlayStation subscription service, but was noticed by transaction observers such as Wario 64. It was temporarily replaced by the new business.

As with these types of promotions, there are a few catches on offer. It is only available until March 29, for one, and is only available to inactive subscribers. This means that if you already have a PlayStation Now subscription, you can’t just add another month for $ 1. You will also be responsible for canceling your subscription after purchasing at this price, or else you will be charged $ 9.99 per month once the subscription promotion and renewal expires.

While a $ 1 entry point for a month is not an unusual deal for these types of services, it is one that PlayStation Now’s main competitor, the Xbox Game Pass, has routinely offered. In fact, Xbox offers a one-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $ 1, the subscription that comes with Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass all in one. This package costs only $ 14.99 per month, which has made it an attractive offer for Xbox enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their subscriptions. PlayStation does not offer competing packages and sells PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now separately from each other.

Sony recently ran a promotion that would give people $ 15 back in PSN credits if they bought a 12-month PlayStation Now or PlayStation Plus subscription. As part of Sony’s “Play at Home” initiative, the company recently made nine more free games for all PlayStation 4 users, and you don’t even have to have PlayStation Plus to get them.
