PlayStation has a major sale planned for this week

The PlayStation store is officially scheduled to have one of the biggest sales of the year, starting in just a few days. Despite offering numerous other deep discounts to coincide with last month’s holiday season, this week’s sales could be the highest the platform has offered so far.

Seen by video game finder @ Wario64 on Twitter, it has been confirmed that the PlayStation Store’s annual “discount” will begin later this week, Tuesday, December 22nd. The event with a limited duration will be broadcast on the normal date and like all the other weekly offers of Sony, the only difference this time is that this sale will definitely contain many more games than usual. Most digital storefronts tend to do everything with discounts at this time of year, and PlayStation is no different.

The only downside is that, for now, we do not know clearly which games will be included in this sale. PlayStation simply said that potential consumers will be able to take advantage of “huge savings for games and essential supplements starting December 22.” That being said, we’ll probably take a full look at all of PlayStation’s offerings soon enough, along with a variety of other details.

However, before the start of this holiday sale, PlayStation is still running its “End of Year Offers” right now. This current promotion offers discounts of up to 80% off outstanding games as well Dark Souls III, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Resident Evil 2, and Monster Hunter: World being some of the many titles that have been marked. However, this promotion will end before the Holiday Discount runs, so you don’t have much time to shop.

Whenever we take a look at all the games that are planned to be part of this upcoming sale on the PlayStation Store, we’ll be sure to let you know. Until then, you can watch along with all the other covers dedicated to the platform right here.

So what do you hope to see appear in this week’s holiday promotion? And do you think that any notable PlayStation 5 games will be reduced or will this be mainly related to games on PlayStation 4? Let me know in the comments or send me a message on Twitter at @ MooreMan12 to talk more.
