A new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 rumors are circulating, and PlayStation fans hope it’s true. The rumor begins by saying that the sequel is longer in development than some might think, with a lot of time at stake because the pandemic has limited recording capabilities. The rumor turns its attention to the story of the game and, obviously, goes into spoilers for the first game.
According to the rumor, the story will revolve around the symbiote, just like the first game that teased him and settled. However, Harry is not Venom, but rather this is a “fake exit”, with Insomniac Games “using him as a way to get the symbiote over Peter”.
As for Norman, he will apparently play a huge role in the game, but he will not be the Green Goblin yet, who seems to be saved for the future. Although Norman will not be a real villain, the rumor mentions Wraith, who has a recurring role in the game, plus Lizard. What it does not reveal is who is the great evil, noticing that the information has not been revealed.
In addition to all this, the rumor mentions an “extended” map, a greater emphasis on costumes and how they can connect to the story and the ability to transfer your rescue from the first game, which will give you all the costumes, gadgets and upgrades that you still unlock.
As for Miles Morales, the rumor claims that Miles is fully playable, with the story switching between Miles and Peter at various points, although Peter will be the playable character for a majority of the game. However, Miles will be involved in the story and will even have his own side missions. Moreover, once you have finished the game, you can switch between the two as you wish.
Finally, the rumor notes the Black Costume, which will be in play with its own mechanics, a refresh tree and unique abilities, such as a “rage mode”. And here ends the rumor. However, it echoes previous rumors and reports about the game, apparently giving it credence, unless, of course, this is the product of prior research. Whatever the case, the comments are full of players hoping that everything is true.
