PlayStation and Xbox fans are upset after the cancellation of the PS4 and Xbox One game

PlayStation fans are upset after another PS4 game was randomly canceled before release, although this time it’s in favor of launching the game on PS5. Since the end of last year, several PS4 games have been canceled, and now the first notable cancellation of 2021 has taken place and comes courtesy of PQube Games and Dual Effect, which announced this week that not only the PS4 version of Tormented souls was preserved, but also the Xbox One version.

According to the first, the cancellation is due to the fact that the pair wants to “take advantage of the new hardware and create an improved, better experience for players to enjoy.” In other words, according to the pair, the cancellation comes down to the desire to use the power offered by the PS5 and Xbox Series X, however, the game still comes on the Nintendo Switch, which is technically inferior to both PS4 and PS4. Xbox One.

As you would expect, those on the latest generation PlayStation console and the latest generation Xbox console are not very happy with the decision and are not impressed by the explanation. In the replies to the tweet that reveals the news, you can find more fans dissatisfied with PlayStation and Xbox.

“The silent cancellation of the PS4 and Xbox One versions is already low, but canceling them to start with the game coming on the Switch is a bit rude.” wrote a user in response to the news.

“As a PS4 user, I was very excited to launch this game.” added another user. “It would be disappointing if this is true and I hope you will reconsider.”

When Tormented souls Releases later this year will be available via PS5, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Despite the backlash, there was no word to reconsider the decision to cancel the PS4 and Xbox One versions. If this changes, we will be sure to update the story accordingly.
