Play these games with the free 30-minute trial of Google Stage

Google now allows you to test Stadia Pro for 30 minutes, no payment information is required. It’s not long, but it’s great to see if you like streaming service without having to worry about canceling a free trial that will be different automatically convert to a payment subscription. But with such a limited time to check the service, what should you play?

Before you get to that, you know that Google Stage’s “tiny try” is different from the free-to-play versions of Destiny 2 and Super Bomberman Online R offers, as well as the typical 30-day test for the Pro Stage. both requires an active Stadia account and your credit card information – even if you don’t intend to buy anything – which may make some people uneasy if they want to see if Stadia will work decently on their devices home network.

The new 30-minute Stage preview, on the other hand, is like a free trial of the free trial. Here’s how to sign up:

  1. Go to stadia.google.com
  2. Create a new Stage account or sign in with an existing Google account that hasn’t used Stage yet (Note: You can cancel account creation after the end of the trial period).
  3. Follow the steps, then click “Start the process” when asked not to enter payment information for the time being and play for 30 minutes.

Once you have started the test, you are free to play any game in the Stadia Pro library or its free titles for half an hour. There are many games available, including several big-name action games and RPGs with addictive stories, but you should try a title that will it quickly introduces you to the game. This way, you can spend your free 30 minutes actually playing a game instead of watching cut scenes. Here are some of my suggestions:

  • Risk of rain 2
  • Unknown player battlefields
  • Celeste
  • Panzer Dragoon
  • Super hot
  • In violation

Note: All Stadia games can be played on PC, Android and Chromecast and iOS via the web application. Stadia supports Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Stadia controllers.

After the 30 minutes have expired, you are redirected to the account creation screen, where you can complete the Stage account creation or unsubscribe.

If you want to continue playing, you can choose between a free account or a 30-day trial period of Stadia Pro. Professional members receive a monthly selection of free games for $ 10 per month and a $ 10 Stadia store voucher when they sign up. Free Stadia accounts can buy games from the Stadia store and play occasional free gifts from Google.
