PIP and MVC argue in court for their representativeness in the EEC

The Movimiento Victoria Ciudadana Party (MVC) and the Independence Party of Puerto Rico (PIP) are arguing today, Friday, before the Court of First Instance Judge Anthony Cuevas Ramos, to justify their representation in the State Electoral Commission (EEC).

The lawsuit was filed by Puerto Rico’s Independence Party (PIP) Electoral Commissioner Roberto Iván Aponte after EEC President Francisco Rosado Colomer ruled in a resolution that minority parties, including the Proyecto Dignidad community, would not be represented in the agency.

Both MVC and PIP were registered in the last elections on November 3.
