Pink’s hot dog stops for a few months

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Pink’s hot dog stand in Hollywood closes for a few months starting Sunday.

On Sunday, there was a long line around the building, with customers stopping to fill up before the temporary closure.

Steven Lee was the first in line this morning.

“I had to come as soon as I heard that they would be closed for two months, because my birthday is in February – February 21 – and this is usually one of my stops. So I’m going to have to get a couple to freeze, I guess. “

The owners say that with local hospitals in capacity, they do not want to risk an employee or a client getting sick during the current growth of COVID-19.

This is only the second stop for Pink’s in 81 years of history. The first was for five months last year, at the beginning of the pandemic.

Pink hopes to reopen in March.
