Pilou Asbaek, star of Game of Thrones, joins Jason Momoa in Aquaman 2 in an unknown role
Jason Momoa gets a Game of Thrones star colleague to join him in Aquaman 2, with Pilou Asbaek signed.
The 39-year-old Danish actor, who played the unfortunate Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, is in talks to join the continuation of the Warner Bros. superhero through Deadline.
No details were given about the plot to continue and no details about who could play Asbaek.

The original Aquaman followed Arthur Curry (Momoa), born to a human father (Temuera Morrison) and Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman) from the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.
The story follows Curry as he sets out on a quest to stop a war between the worlds of earth and sea.
The original film also starred Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Manta.

Aquaman was a huge success for DCEU at the box office, earning $ 335 million in the domestic market, second in DCEU instead of Wonder Woman, $ 412.5 million.
It was also the only DCEU film to generate $ 1 billion globally, earning $ 813.4 million from the international territories for $ 1.14 billion worldwide.
It is not yet known if other Aquaman stars will return with Momoa as the main character.

Peter Safran is producing the sequel to the superhero, and production is expected to begin this summer, although no other details have been given.
Warner Bros. has also set a release date of December 16, 2022 for Aquaman 2, which will be compared to another anticipated sequel, Avatar 2.

Asbaek first appeared in American films such as The Whistleblower and Lucy before her major role as Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones.
He also played Pontius Pilate in 2016’s Ben-Hur on the big screen, alongside the roles in Ghost in the Shell, Woodshock and Overlord.
Most recently played in Outside the Wire and will be seen in Samaritan, Project X-Traction and ISS
