Piers Morgan could not resist the heat.
Morgan, 55, left the “Good Morning Britain” set on Tuesday after his co-star Alex Beresford confronted him for his relentless criticism of Meghan Markle.
“I understand you don’t like Meghan Markle. You have said this program so clearly several times and I understand that you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she interrupted you “, said Beresford. “Did he say anything about you after he interrupted you?” He has the right to interrupt you if he wants. And yet keep throwing it in the trash. ”
Morgan snorted and snorted before rushing in while Beresford described his behavior as “evil.” The controversial media personality of later posted on Twitter that he was “annoyed”, so “he went to relax a bit and came back to finish the discussion”.
He later added“I just prefer not to sit there listening to colleagues who call me evil.”
In a 2018 Daily Mail column, Morgan said she was a “ghost” of the Duchess of Sussex after they became friends in 2015, starting by following each other on Twitter. In 2016, they met for drinks when she was in London and then went out on a date with the man who would become her husband.
“She met Prince Harry at dinner that night, had a solo meeting with him the next night, and I never heard from her again,” Morgan wrote. “Not a word. I was a ghost.”
The former “Suits” star never responded to her demands.
From the column, Morgan kept snatching Markle, especially after the interview with Oprah Winfrey, whom he described as “an absolutely shameful betrayal of the queen and the royal family.”
