Phillip Lindsay agrees with the Houston Texans

Former Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay has a new home.

Lindsay (5-8, £ 190) agreed with a one year business along with the Houston Texans, his agent announced on Twitter Friday night. The contract is worth it $ 3.25 millions, according to several reports.

Lindsay was born and raised in the Denver area and played college football in Colorado. He signed with the Broncos as a college free agent in 2018 and became the first raw offensive debutant in NFL history to make the Pro Bowl after rushing over 1,000 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns in his first season.

Lindsay had another 1,000-yard season in 2019, but Denver brought in Melvin Gordon to be the team’s new horse that returned in 2020. Lindsay struggled with several injuries last season and had the worst year. of his career, totaling only 530 meters of scrimmage and a single touchdown.

In Houston, Lindsay will likely compete for rotation time with David Johnson and Mark Ingram, who agreed to a one-year deal with the Texans earlier this month.
