Philadelphia AccuWeather forecast for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – It was another cold day, with thicker clouds and a maximum of 36.

TONIGHT: The clouds are increasing and after midnight some snow showers are coming in. Snow will eventually mix with sleet and sleet at night. We expect only a coating up to 1 “in some areas. Although this is a minor occurrence, slippery road conditions are still possible where snow or other types of winter precipitation occur. The lowest point is 30.

TUESDAY: Some persistent light snow and ice will quickly turn to light rain in most of the area in the morning, with a winter mix that may linger longer in northwestern suburbs. There may be a small build-up of ice north and west of the I-95 corridor, so take it easy on untreated surfaces. Temperatures should rise above freezing in the morning in most areas, with showers on and off. Our high is 40.

WEDNESDAY: Look for mostly cloudy skies with a maximum of 44.

THURSDAY: This is a partly cloudy, windy day with a maximum temperature of 36.

FRIDAY: This is the coldest day to date this season, peaking at just 29 and chills in the teens.

SATURDAY: We’re looking at a mostly sunny, cold start to the weekend with a maximum of 34.

SUNDAY: More clouds are arriving. It’s a bit milder with a high of 39.

MONDAY: Watch out for mostly cloudy skies with a chance of some rain, which can start out as a winter mix of snow and rain if it comes in early enough in the morning. The high is 40.
