Phil Hawes Vs. Nassourdine Imavov has been canceled

Phil Hawes’ second UFC outing has been suspended after his midfield fight with Nassourdine Imavov was eliminated from the UFC on Saturday on the ABC 1 card.

MMA Junkie confirmed the news following an initial report from RT Sport. The first UFC fight card of 2021 drops from 13 to 12 fights. No reason was given for canceling the fight.

Hawes, a graduate of Dana White’s Contender Series (9-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC), started her UFC career in a spectacular way, with an 18-second elimination of Jacob Malkoun to earn a “Performance of the night ”at UFC 254 last October.

He was ready to take on Imavov (9-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC), born in Russia, who also started his UFC career winner last year with a unanimous victory over Jordan Williams at the UFC on ESPN 16, also in October.

The pair was prepared to present their skills in the preliminary place of the preliminary card in Abu Dhabi. But undisclosed circumstances have now forced the attack to give up the book.

The UFC on ABC 1 takes place on Saturday at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The main book is broadcast on ABC and is broadcast on ESPN + following the predecessors on ESPN +.

With the change, the revised range for the UFC on ABC 1 includes:
