Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll offered a series of updates on player injuries Saturday morning, a day before his team battled the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC West title.
Only one player was ruled out before the game, running back DeeJay Dallas, who has a sprained ankle. Three other players with the injury name list.
Goalkeeper Mike Iupati is designated as doubtful with a stinger. Carroll said Jordan Simmons would probably get his head in his place on Sunday.
“Jordan has done a very nice job,” Carroll said. “He is a big physical child, very comfortable playing now, he played a lot of football for us, so it’s not like we have a guy who doesn’t have experience. Jordan can play, he has played against these boys in the past, so we look forward to playing well if that goes. “
As for another member of the offensive line, Brandon Shell’s approach, he remains debatable with an ankle injury. However, he may see limited time in the contest.
“She has a chance to help us, so we look forward to her dressing up and being with us,” Carroll said.
Safety Damarious Randall was the last Seattle player to report injuries Friday, listed as doubtful with a foot injury.
