Sunday is National Boiled Chocolate Day and, to celebrate, Pepsi offers free samples of “Cocoa” cola for fans of the soft drink. Through a contest on the drink maker’s Twitter account, fans can send a picture of them accompanied by a cup of hot chocolate. 2,500 competitors who do so will be rewarded with two boxes of future drink, a tongue-in-cheek approach with a cocoa-flavored drink. The contest lasts only until February 1.
According to the company, Pepsi “Cocoa” Cola “is a delicious twist on nostalgia and hits just the right blend of cocoa and Pepsi cola.The milk chocolate base has vanilla hues, adding a creamy taste to every sip. It’s perfect for you to enjoy. while comfortably on the couch or anytime looking for a delicious delicacy to sweeten these winter days. “

“There is nothing more classic than hot cocoa on a winter’s day, but this year was more than typical,” Pepsi marketing chief Todd Kaplan said in a press release announcing the drink first. “So why not gather the delicious taste of a Pepsi with the delicious taste of winter, chocolate and marshmallow and bring an unexpected joy to our fans this season? We are sure that we put Pepsi “Cocoa” Cola and we can’t wait to put this in the hands of cola fans this winter. ”
The company hosted content similar to the limited launch of Pepsi Apple Pie last year, during Thanksgiving. This drink is now getting a crazy premium in online markets such as eBay.
