The potatoes return to Taco Bell. Earlier this week, the fast food group announced that it was reversing course to bring the option back after reducing a substantial portion of its menu last fall. Suffice it to say that fans are ecstatic about this move – so much so, the addition has become the social media discussion.

“Returning our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing fans our strong ongoing commitment to vegetarianism this year,” said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global director of food innovation. “I have long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year we have several meat-free options in the store that vegetarians, curious vegetables and even meat consumers will love.”
