Pedro Pascal celebrated his sister, Lux, after appearing as a transgender in the latest issue of Ya magazine.
The 45-year-old “Mandalorian” actor posted a sweet message on Instagram on the cover of the magazine.
“My sister, my heart, our Lux,” he wrote, which translates as “my sister, my heart, our Lux.”
Lux, 28, revealed she began receiving hormone treatment in July and is now studying acting at Juilliard in New York.
“My transition was very natural for everyone in my family,” Lux said in the report, translated from Spanish. “He almost expected it to happen.”
She also talked about her relationship with her brother and said that he supported her transition, which she revealed to him from the beginning in FaceTime.
“[He] it was an important part of that, “she said. “He is also an artist and has served as my guide. He was one of the first people to give me the tools that began to shape my identity. ”
Lux also stressed the importance of activism in the community, saying: “We need trans activists who are good, intelligent, knowledgeable and who can be strong voices against transphobia, homophobia and racism.”
