Pedophile pop star Gary Glitter receives COVID-19 vaccine in prison

Pedophile pop star Gary Glitter got the COVID-19 vaccine – ahead of his victims and the prison staff who protect him, according to a report.

The 76-year-old sex offender – whose real name is Paul Gadd – was among a crowd of elderly perverts who received the jab last week in the British prison, where he is serving 16 years for abusing three girls, he said The Sun.

British government officials insisted the newspaper that detainees “are vaccinated at the same time as the general public” and do not receive priority.

But David Spencer of the Center for Crime Prevention said he proved the system “needs urgent rethinking.”

“There are still a lot of key workers and vulnerable people who have yet to receive their jobs. It is wrong to identify the criminals before them, “he told The Sun.

A source told The Sun that convicted sex offenders were many of the first to be shot, as many of them are elderly citizens. Due to their young age, the victims are probably some of the last to receive the same protection.

“You have several prisons where there is a significant group of elderly sex offenders, aged between 70 and 80,” the source said.

“Because of their age, they will receive the first vaccine.

“But if you’re a Glitter prison officer and you didn’t have a leg, you won’t be happy,” the source said.

Glitter was vaccinated at Dorset Prison, The Verne, which is nicknamed “Luxury Alcatraz,” because of its island location and comfortable conditions, The Sun said.

He has been jailed since 2015 for abusing three young women – the third sentence with his prison for pedophiles.

He was first imprisoned in 1999 for downloading child abuse images and then again in 2006 for assaulting two 11- and 12-year-old girls.

A government spokesman insisted to The Sun that detainees receive the blow “in accordance with the priority groups set by the Independent Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization”.
