Germán “Patón” Mejía surprised Monday announcing his departure from Olympia after spending a few days negotiating its renewal.

These words surprised the president Villeda who had not expected such news since negotiating the renovation of whites.
Villeda asked Mejía that, if there were no offer abroad that could be presented to him, he hoped that he would remain in double champion.
