Pamela Anderson was accused of being a “burglar” after stealing her new husband from another woman and separating a happy family of five.
The model and actress are accused of seducing handyman Dan Hayhurst – whom she married on Christmas Eve – while working on her property in the Canadian city of Ladysmith and having an affair with another woman.
On Wednesday, 53-year-old former Baywatch star announced that she married her 40-year-old “bodyguard” Dan at her sixth wedding to her fifth husband, saying, “I’m right. where I need to be – in the arms of a man who loves me. ”
But ex-Carey, who has lived with him and raised his two children for the past five years, recounted how she was blinded by adventure and knew nothing about their marriage until she read about it online.
She said the couple began dating early last year – while she and Dan were still together – before he finally moved out of their common home and joined Pam in July.
Carey, 42, said: “This is not the closed love story that is being described, it is all a façade.
“I decided to talk because I want people to know that my relationship of almost five years, with three children involved, ended because of the adventure in which Pam and Dan started while he was still with me.
“It is sad that people are celebrating this and cheering them on, when it started with deception, denials and overwhelming life choices for all the people involved.
The worm is back
“It simply came to our notice then. He worked with her for over six months before any of this happened.
“He was not her guardian then, he is a handyman, she hired him to work at her house.
“We were all blinded by this, it was so hard for us. And not just me and the children, many people were hurt by them. Dan lost his friendship and business relationship because of this. ”
Vancouver Island’s mother Carey and Dan, then a single father, reunited after meeting in a dating app and moved with him to the mainland in Squamish, a town north of Vancouver, helping raising his two children.
The couple then moved to Vancouver Island for a fresh start about four years ago.
She said: “We did everything together, like family vacations, family fishing trips, we worked together on family projects. It was always us. ”
But their happy lives were to change forever after Dan was hired as a building contractor for the renovation of Pamela’s five-acre home in Ladysmith.
He started working there in early fall 2019, soon complaining to Carey about how “crazy” Pamela was and how difficult and demanding it was to work.
In a text shared with The Sun, he wrote: “The dragon has been released! Speaking of Pam. “
In January 2020, Pamela “married” filmmaker Jon Peters before breaking up with him two weeks later, claiming it was never a real wedding.
Carey said, “I’d say, ‘What are you doing?’ You have to get out of that job. It’s crazy. It was a crazy time when she married that guy Jon Peters for two weeks.
“She told all the contractors that she was getting married the day before, so when I saw the news about it, I sent a message to Dan.
He replied back, “Hahaha is older than her father, but I think our money problems are over,” which is what he meant because the guy is rich.
“I thought he was quite ruthless with him. He really didn’t seem to be able to deal with her at all. ”
Carey said things started to change at the end of last March, with Dan spending more and more time away from home.
She continued: “The worm is back. Covid happened and it seemed to happen overnight.
“Dan would stay at home and not come home, and here I take care of the children.
“At first, he denied it when I confronted him, but eventually I asked him, ‘Are you sleeping with Pam? He said, “All I’m going to say is that I’ve crossed the line.”
“At first he said, ‘I want you to stay in our house. I do not want you to leave. I just have to find out. ‘
“It simply came to our notice then. He said, “Carey, I love you. I don’t know what’s going on now. I’m not in my head right now. I’m not in a good space. ‘
“He asked me to give him time to find out, so I let him do what he was doing.
“And until then there has been no return. I had met Pam and gone to dinner with her. My daughter worked for her. I couldn’t believe it. ”
The relationship between Dan and Pamela continued to develop and in July last year he moved out of the house he shared with Carey and moved in with Pam.
One-sided story
On Wednesday, Pam told an interviewer that she had been with Dan for a year, adding, “One year together they felt like seven, like dog years.”
Carey moved out of the common house after Dan and is currently sold.
She claims that he and Pam behave like teenagers and said: “When he turned 40 last year, he bought him a boat.
“He has crushed his car three times now and his boat twice. It’s a walking mess. They sit on their property, drinking – it’s like the show Dan and Pam. ”
Pam claims that she and Dan had the blessing of all their family and friends for their wedding, but Carey disputes this, saying, “No one was invited to the wedding.
“He sent a message to his mother the night before the ceremony and said, ‘I’m getting married tomorrow, keep this on DL and don’t say anything.’
“She did not answer. It was as if he had obviously respected her because he was her son, but she was not invited. It doesn’t even look like a real wedding. Everything looks so controlled. ”
She added: “He can be very manipulative, so in a sense, they are made for each other, but I don’t see this as lasting. I would be very surprised.
“Dan and I never got married because I never want to.
“For me it’s nothing, it’s a piece of paper and it causes you problems when you want to get out of it.
“And he told me, ‘I’ll never get married again.’ And then we’re here, six or eight months or whatever the hell they have in their relationship and they’re married.
“I’m just thinking, ‘Wow, who are you?’ Who is the man I’ve been with for five years? None of this makes sense. ”
Carey’s 21-year-old daughter Denise, who worked as a laborer at Pam’s home, told The Sun that she discovered Dan’s relationship: “I was shocked when I found out about it.
“I just thought, ‘How can that be?’ “I work here with them full time and I had no idea.
“And the fact that he had a family, we were a mixed family, he has two small children and, obviously, she is much older.
“What was his thought process?” What was going on in his mind?
“I was just shocked. It’s as unreal as something straight out of the movies. I do not believe. Everyone thinks it’s this love story and no one knows that there was an adventure and that there is this family involved.
“And I think the hardest part is that people are fed up with this one-sided fairy tale when, in reality, there is much more.
“It simply came to our notice then. It was very hard for my mother.
“She intensified completely and was a full-time mother for those children. It was hard to watch her go through this.
“There was no hard patch or things were not good at home, things were completely normal throughout the work until this happened.
“Pam doesn’t have the best marriage experience, that’s for sure. So when Covid finishes and can go back to travel and what not, I really don’t see it working. ”

PAM married wild rocker Tommy in 1995 after meeting him for only 96 hours and having two children with him, Brandon and Dylan.
The couple broke up after drummer Motley Crue attacked her and spent six months in prison. They divorced in 1998, but reunited for a short time in 2008, before eventually giving up.
He got engaged to the rapper and musician in 2002, but later went their separate ways. But after they reunited, they got married in 2006.
They broke up later that year. Pam had a miscarriage while the two were married and divorced shortly thereafter, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
In 2007, Pam and professional poker player Rick married at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, but divorced only ten weeks later, citing the usual “irreconcilable differences,” and the marriage was officially annulled later. They remarried in 2014, but divorced for the second time in 2015.
Pam first dated the filmmaker more than 30 years ago and apparently tied the knot in a secret ceremony in January 2020.
They broke up after 12 days, and the actress later claimed in an Instagram legend that “they didn’t get married legally” and it was just a “bizarre theatrical lunch”.
