Palantir shares appear after IBM’s partnership in offering AI to companies

Shares of Palantir Technologies Inc. PLTR,

rose 10.9% in premarket trading Monday after Big Data software company announced a partnership with International Business Machines Corp. IBM,
+ 0.64%
on open artificial intelligence applications for business. IBM shares gained 0.9% before opening. Companies will use the IBM hybrid cloud data platform and the Palantir operations platform to build applications to launch Palantir for the IBM Cloud Data Pack, which will be available in March 2021. Palantir’s stock market rally comes after falling 3.2 % last week, to unload a series of four-week gains, in which the stock increased by 49.4%. The stock rose 146.2% in the last three months to Friday, while IBM shares gained 6.8% and the S&P 500 SPX,

advanced by 10.8%.
