Painful match for Javier Báez

Chicago. Kyle Wright hit four beats in Chicago, but held the lead in a game in which he was called up for a last-minute pitch, and the Atlanta Braves escaped with a 5-2 victory over the Cubs on Friday.

Willson Contreras eliminated Wright, but the Cubs suffered a second straight loss and a fifth in the last six games.
