A new Overwatch 2 The leak came online before BlizzCon 2021, and the leak comes in the way of a prominent and reputable Overwatch leaker. Blizzard has already confirmed that the long-awaited sequel will be at BlizzCon 2021 and will have updates to share, but at this time has not said any look at what fans can expect. Since the game will not be released this year, it is safe to assume that we will not get a release date, but at the moment, this is probably the only sure assumption to be made about the continuation and presence of BlizzCon this year.
That being said, even on the benchmarks, Overwatch leaker Metro recently went on Twitter to do what Blizzard won’t do: set expectations. And for this purpose, warns Metro Overwatch fans to lower their expectations, noting that this will be more or less a progress report of the game and nothing more.
According to Metro, new heroes will be revealed and it looks like this will be the highlight. The speaker also notes that “free-to-play is in the works”, but it will probably not be revealed at BlizzCon.
Metro also briefly touches on the first game, which he says is dead. And to that end, he says you don’t expect to see a new one Overwatch hero at any time.
Beyond Overwatch 2, Metro is also teasing about a lot of rumors Diablo 2 the remaster will be revealed eventually as well.
Unfortunately, this is where the leak ends, and at this time, there are no indications that more details will be distributed before the event. That being said, if more details appear, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. In the meantime, take everything here with a grain of salt. Although the source in question has proved reliable in the past, nothing here is official and can be changed.
