Blizzard has probably released two new characters that come along Overwatch 2 on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Earlier this month at BlizzCon, Blizzard was disappointed Overwatch fans with as little as possible Overwatch 2 he showed. The reinforcement of this disappointment was the lack of a revealed character. However, while Blizzard has not come out and announced a new character, the footage they have shown seems to suggest two new characters joining the series list.
The first is that fans don’t need any introductions and that’s because it was a rumored addition to the series list long before Overwatch 2 it was even announced. In the footage presented at BlizzCon, pieces of Junker Queen – her gloves and ax – can be seen posing in the background, suggesting that they are in play in a certain quality.

The other newly leaked character involves a bit more speculation and is a character that some players will not be familiar with. Also on Reddit, a user recently pointed out that one of the villains of the robot resembles the suspicion of Soundquake, a hero from the game universe. The resemblance is hard to ignore, although at this point it is impossible to know if there is actually anything in this regard, let alone an indication that Soundquake is coming next.

As always, take everything here with a grain of salt. While Junker Queen has a positive position in the background, apparently confirms its existence further, there is no official information. In the meantime, it’s hard to know what to do with the Soundquake observation above, let alone claim that that means I’m coming to the game.
Overwatch 2 is under development for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. At the time of publication, there was no news of a release date or game coming to PS5 or Xbox Series X / S.
