Over 800 new cases confirmed, six deaths and 509 hospitalizations due to COVID

The Department of Health reported approximately 802 confirmed cases and six additional deaths from coronavirus, COVID-19.

According to the information published on the digital portal, the confirmed cases accumulated on the island reach 107,884. In addition, it indicates approximately 415 probable cases, which are detected with the antigen test, for a cumulative total of 13,817. While from serological tests, approximately 1,068 additional cases are indicated, accumulating a total of 108,254.

With nine deaths reported today, the total number rises to 2,200. These deaths occur, four in the Bayamón region, one in Caguas and one in the subway. In the case of Bayamón, there are four men aged 71, 73, 44 and 43, while in Caguas there is a woman aged 79. In the metropolitan area, a 77-year-old man is indicated.

On the other hand, an increase of 19 people was reported in hospitalizations for a total of 509. Of these, 463 are adult cases and 46 are minors. Intensive care patients are maintained in 92 adults and four minors.

In the case of patients with ventilator, adults increased from 60 to 65, and in minors it remained at 2.
