At the end of last month, OnePlus updated its latest phones to OxygenOS 11, based on Android 11. As with major updates, a few bugs were found. According to its active user forum, OnePlus is now releasing the hotfix 11.0.0.2 for OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro, along with a security update.
The change log for the update looks identical to the extended one for the initial public release for Oxygen 11, except that they added the security patch in March. (Over the middle of April, we might add.) OnePlus wasn’t exactly on the ball for security patches until late.

- Newly added quick access to recording mode by pressing and holding the shutter button and sliding the button, you can easily zoom in or out
- Newly added playback display in Time-lapse mode to display the actual shooting time
- Ambient display
- Newly added Insight watch style, a joint creation with Parsons School of Design. Will change depending on phone usage data (To set: Settings> Personalization> Clock on the ambient display)
- Recently added Canvas feature that can automatically draw a wireframe image based on a lock screen photo on your phone （Path: Settings – Personalization – Wallpaper – Canvas – Choose photo preview and can be generated automatically
- Dark way
- Dark mode shortcut key added, drag down the activation shortcut
- Support for automatic function activation and customization of time interval (path: Settings – Display – Dark mode – Automatic activation – Automatic activation from sunset to sunrise / custom time interval)
- Play space
- New game toolbox added for convenient Fnatic mode switches. You can now choose three notification modes: text only, heads up and lock, just for your addictive gaming experience
- Quick response feature recently added in a small window for Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram (Activate it by swiping down from the top / left corners of the screen in game mode)
- Recently added crash prevention feature. Activate it, swipe down from the top of the screen, click and the notification bar will appear
- Shelf
- Recently designed for the shelf interface, the interface is clearer
- Added weather widget, smarter animation effect
- Gallery
- The Story function automatically forms weekly videos with photos and videos stored
- Optimize the upload speed of the gallery, and preview the image faster
OnePlus notes that the launch is organized as usual, so don’t be surprised if it takes a week or so for the notification to appear on your phone.
