Second round – Michael Carter, North Carolina

Carter’s teammate, Javonte Williams, gets all the attention, but Carter would be an extraordinary consolation prize in the second round. Carter really impressed at the Senior Bowl, and his vision and explosion would turn him into a great weapon in the Steelers backfield.
Third round – Rhamondre Stevenson

If you insist that the Steelers write a big, bruised back, Stevenson is your type. He is fast and agile around the line of scrimmage, but once he reaches the second level he turns into a hammer.
Round Four – Chris Evans, RB, Michigan

If Evans had been on the field longer in the last two seasons, we might be talking about him among the first RBs in this class. He has all the skills, but his last production band returned in 2018.
Fifth round – Chuba Hubbard, Oklahoma

As a pure runner, Hubbard brings a lot to the table. Not the least of these is the tracking speed and the ability to find seams in an area lock scheme. It remains to be seen how his game will translate into the NFL, especially with his lack of production in the passing game.
Sixth round – Pooka Williams, Kansas

Returning to a more evasive and faster back, we have Williams. He’s not big enough to be a bottom back, but with his skill set, you don’t just have to look at him as a niche type of a player. He is a separatist threat, but he has a complete game.
Seventh Round – Javian Hawkins, Louisville

Hawkins is another guy who will never carry a heavy NFL load as his back, but can be dynamic as a part-time player. Evasive with high speed, will be a player of change of pace of a team.
