THE GAME

Coach Pedro Troglio made some changes regarding the team he presented at the first match against Real Spain, placing Allan Banegas, Josman Figueroa and Yustin Arboleda as starters.

The formula that Olimpia used in the hands of the Argentine coach worked slowly, because the lack of ideas, the depth and the good tactical stop of the visitors prevented the meringue game from flowing.

The first dangerous action came until the 18th minute, Olimpia made a good triangulation for Yustin Arboleda to shoot from the left, but the Colombian’s shot was easy in the hands of Julani Archibald.

Two minutes later, at 20, the same gunner defined the original goal, but it was canceled due to a clear forward position.

There came a period when neither team brought danger in the areas, the ball being played mainly in the center of the field.

After 41 minutes, following yet another great corner, Josman Figueroa knocked the ball to the limit of Julani Archibald’s reach, who just couldn’t put it in the net.

In addition, it was thought that the dynamics would change with the coaches to seek victory, but the pace of the game and the few dangerous actions were maintained.

After 67 minutes, Olimpia sent the corner kick right to who headed it sharply past the keeper. the ball was left to Jonathan Paz, who controlled his chest and scored first for the men with long hair on the right.
