The climb continues for the Ohio State basketball team. Even outside the top 25 a few weeks ago, most polls and experts now have the Buckeyes in the top five in the country and may approach No. 1 if things continue.
Almost every opinion maker now has Buckeyes among the elite teams in the country and there is one we have been following for some time. . Last week, ESPN’s Jeff Borzello had OSU in 9th place in his weekly power rankings, which was good in itself. But now, after a road victory against Iowa, in combination with some losses of the front teams, now he has raised the state of Ohio among the elite teams in the country.
Of course, we have to warn ourselves that there is still a long season, but there is no doubt at this point that Buckeyes will be ranked high enough in the NCAA tournament wherever and whenever it is played.
