Ten Bigs hit again.
Ohio State came out of the gate on Wednesday night and put Penn State on heels, climbing eleven points in the first half. Somewhere along the way, towards the end of the second half, the mentality of the Nittany lions changed, the energy and purpose increased and things started to turn.
The Buckeyes never all managed to withstand the pressure that Penn State showed and led to a narrow 83-79 escape after a huge win on the road against a Wisconsin top ten team. A victory is a victory, it is a victory, but it was a battle tonight.
However, this is probably the deepest and most talented conference in the country, and if you don’t come to play, any team in the league can make you pay. That almost happened on Wednesday night and you can bet that head coach Chris Holtmann would prefer to teach lessons in victory, rather than after a defeat.
As we do after each game, here are three reviews we noticed from the whole action.
