Before the Divisional Round playoff games began on Sunday, the NFL was full of commercial rumors about Deshaun Watson. Watson wasn’t happy that the Texans lied to him about giving him a voice in who he hires as their next head coach. He made his point clear, causing the team to try to calm him down, but it seems too late.
Adam Schefter reported on Sunday morning that he felt more and more that Watson had played his last shot for the Texans. And starting Sunday afternoon, the team discussed potential business partners.
Of course, many fans would like Watson to wear the uniform of their favorite team. But only one will. What team it is will depend on a few factors, not the least of which is what kind of design capital they hold.
