NOT RASIS: Félix Torres, suspended for violent conduct

At the time of the publication of the Guardians’ Day 2021 report on the 7th, the Disciplinary Commission reported that Felix Torres, Santos Laguna’s central defender, had been suspended two games after pushing a parade in the duel against Atlético San Luis.

The report reveals the punishment of two games, which will start serving this weekend against Juárez FC for “being guilty of violent conduct”.

In the broadcast videos of the duel, it is seen how the Ecuadorian defender pushes a parade, one of the events that caused the confrontation of both teams in the end, where Torres later accused that he was a victim of racism.

It should be noted that the defender’s teammates reported that he ended up crying in the dressing room after the expulsion and friends expected San Luis to be punished, however it was mentioned that no evidence of racism was found.

In addition, the Uruguayan helmsman from San Luis, Leonel Rocco for leaving the technical area, the physical coach Agustín Laprovitera for not respecting the match officials and Diego Pineda for violent behavior, all one game, were suspended.
