Kate Middleton, 39, showed considerably longer hair during her most recent virtual engagement.
The brunette locks fell over her left shoulder as she spoke to nurses at Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust University Halls on Thursday via video link to learn about their work and thank them for their efforts.
The duchess, who is in prison with her family at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, is setting an example by doing her own hair and letting her style grow, celebrity stylist James Johsnon explained.

During the call, Kate heard the emotional story of a nurse holding the hand of a dying patient and playing her favorite band Bon Jovi after his wife could not reach his bed.
Kate praised Vasu Lingappa for making “an extra move” and shared an easier moment with the NHS worker, who joked that the patient’s wife wanted to sing the rock band’s hits – but he refused because of her strong Asian accent.
She called in the Sandringham region on Tuesday after the monarch lent her and Prince William’s residence to use as a base during the closure.
The large Norfolk property is currently empty because the monarch and Prince Philip are in Windsor for the blockade and are not open to the public.
The Duke and Duchess live on the road with their children in the 10-bedroom Anmer Hall, but have set up a small temporary office with their staff in Sandringham.

During the call, Mr. Lingappa, a critical care practitioner, told the Duchess: “A lot of people are dying and we normally have families around them at the last minute, but we are not able to do that.
