NJ COVID Update: 105-year-old survives coronavirus, offers life-long advice

OCEAN COUNTY, New Jersey (WABC) – A woman from Ocean County who tested positive for COVID-19 at the age of 105 last month has recovered and now has some advice.

Lucia DeClerck said on Tuesday that she feels great.

He has now lived through two world wars and two pandemics, and at the age of 105, he even receives Zoom.

So what’s her secret?

“I have no secret, all I do is pray, pray, pray – and not eat junk food,” DeClerck said.

Her family said she survived three cardiologists and three husbands and joked that it must be made of steel.

DeClerck says she thinks gin-soaked raisins helped keep her disease-free.

She is now completely vaccinated against COVID and says she will continue her daily prayers for everyone.
