Nintendo has launched Nintendo Switch Concierge, a program designed to familiarize those who “recently purchased a Nintendo Switch system” with the console.
Switch Concierge offers Switch owners individual video conferencing with a Nintendo representative. There are six half-hour sessions to choose from: Nintendo Switch 101, Games (Getting Started), Games (What to play next), Security and Privacy, Nintendo Account and Personalization. Everything seems very 101 – for example, the Games (Getting Started) session purportedly covers the difference between buying a game on a cartridge or purchasing it by “digital download”. (Aren’t all downloads digital?) In the meantime, the customization session will go over @NintendoInspired Instagram feed.
A service for new Switch owners would not have been a thing a year ago: last spring Animal Crossing: New Horizons she reassured those locked up in their homes during the beginning of the pandemic it was almost impossible to get a Switch. Now that most digital retailers have the Switch in stock, Switch Concierge is probably more viable. I look forward to hearing about the video games available for the Nintendo Switch and why they are all written Hades.
