Nintendo Switch makes two free classic games for a limited time

Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite made not one, but two free games or, more precisely, Capcom made two of its free games on Switch and Switch Lite. After Nintendo Direct yesterday – who presented the announcement Splatoon 3, a new DLC Super Smash Bros. last fighter and a new one Mario Golf – Capcom decided to do them all by doing both Ghosts’ n Goblins and 1943: Battle of Midway free download.

The first is made free to celebrate the upcoming release of Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection. After Ghosts’ n Goblins Resurrection launches on February 25, the game will no longer be free and will rather be available as a standalone purchase. That being said, if you download the game before, it’s yours to keep forever.

In the meantime, 1943: Battle of Midway seems to be a permanent freebie. The arcade shoot-up game debuted until 1987 and is still widely regarded as one of the best and most popular arcade games of all time. That Ghosts’ n Goblins, is also free to keep once downloaded.

It is important to note that all of the above information is subject to change. In other words, everything is correct at the time of publication, but by the time you read this, some or all of this may have changed.
