Nintendo Switch seems to receive a port of a relatively popular action RPG next month. The information comes through Nintendo’s official website, although the announcement of the game has not yet been confirmed directly by the developer or its publisher.
The specific game mentioned that could come to Switch is that of the game Kingdom How to: Release. The title was developed by Warhorse Studios and first released on consoles and PCs in 2018, but has never come to Switch since. The way in which The Kingdom is coming The leak for the Switch was made through Nintendo’s Japanese website, which lists the game as released on the platform next month on February 18, 2021.
Listing for Kingdom How to: Release However, the Nintendo site is a bit strange in a major regard. The game is specially named Royal Edition, which is a version of the game that has not reached other platforms. Chances are this is just the specific name of this port on the Switch, but that remains to be seen.
An important thing to keep in mind with this potential release is that assuming it is real, it may not be a direct port. Some have mentioned this because The Kingdom is coming running on CryEngine may be a bit more difficult to bring to Switch than other games. However, in the past, Nintendo has begun to offer users the option to play games in the cloud, rather than downloading them natively to the hardware. An example of this is in particular Control which was released on Switch last year, but was only played in the cloud. If The Kingdom is coming It turned out to be a difficult game to bring to the platform, Warhorse could choose to go this route.
Obviously, if Kingdom How to: Release comes to Switch next month, you’d imagine we’ll find out about its existence soon enough. If there are any other announcements about this new iteration of the game, we’ll be sure to keep you posted here on ComicBook.com.
