Nicola Sturgeon admits that she violated her own COVID-19 mask rules

The Scottish leader admitted on Wednesday that he had violated his own strict rules COVID-19 after being photographed in a pub without a mask.

“It was a stupid mistake and I’m sorry,” Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon said after the Scottish edition of the Sun posted a photo on the front page from her talking to a group of women last Friday without covering her face.

“I talk every day about the importance of masks, so I will make no excuses,” said the Scottish government leader.

“I was wrong, I hit and I’m sorry,” she said.

Sturgeon, the leader of the Scottish National Party, admitted the mistake only after the Sun showed her talking to a group of women in a pub following a funeral in Edinburgh last week.

It was printed just one day after Sturgeon gave her last speech in the Scottish parliament on the importance of wearing masks. According to a law passed by her party, customers in pubs and restaurants must cover their face, unless they are seated at a table.

Her political rivals, the Scottish Conservatives, he tweeted the front cover of the Sun, saying that Sturgeon “should know better.”

“There can be no rule for Nicola Sturgeon and no one for everyone else,” the party said.
